My hands are still dry, but probably not as dry as they would have been. They haven't been bleeding this winter, so that is a plus at least.

I read a couple of books that I really enjoyed recently - both by Sarah Addison Allen. They aren't the type of books I would normally read, but I ended up loving both of them - they are a bit different - hard to explain. If you bring her up on Chapers or someplace, there will be a summary of the book and it would make more sense than me. One is Garden Spells and the other is The Sugar Queen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26715721.post-68413973871897798232009-01-08T01:30:00.000-08:002009-01-08T01:30:00.000-08:00I will always recommend anything by Guy Gavriel Ka...I will always recommend anything by Guy Gavriel Kay. Historical fantasy. Small warning...be prepared to be confused at the start of any of his novels. He does not set things up for you, he throws you right into the middle of whatever is happening, and you get to meet the characters yourself, and find out what they are up to yourself. A lot of people have trouble adjusting to that, so that's why I give the warning. Took me 100 pages to get into the first novel of his that I read (it was three novels in one), and it ended up being the best book I have ever read. The Jaded Beehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00592312036413144156noreply@blogger.com
